London
London is a beast of a city and it needs a London Guide to make sense of it all. Not some cockney, East-End, Guy Ritchie Londoner through-and-through. You need London through the eyes of someone who was exactly as bewildered as you when they first set eyes upon it.
And I am that man!
I moved to London more than 10 years ago! That's long enough that I find myself remembering "how it was" and getting excited by "how it is now", but not so long that I don't still get a thrill realising that I live around the corner from Buckingham Palace and can hear the tolling of Big Ben from home (when the wind blows the right way).
London is the first great modern metropolis and still holds a special, multicultural magic. From the museums, to the food, to the history, even in these fractious times, London is still one of the greatest cities on Earth: this is my London Guide.
